... not of major significance... it's just a tree down a quiet country lane... not a particulaly large or old tree, but it has a nice twist to it's trunk & it stands on it's own against the wind... so why, over the years, have so many people photographed it? Here are some I've found...

... it's seen it all & thankfully it's now protected until the opencasting ends & the countryside returns to it's former state.
