Central Avenue, West Bridgford

Does anyone have any information on Central Avenue, West Bridgford in the 60s-90s. The whole of that Tudor Square/Rectory Road/Central Avenue has changed so much.
I seem to vaguely remember a garage being part of the "avenue", and a local butchers there too.
Thanks in advance.
