How to attach a good lens to a really *REALLY* poor camera?  What a waste of glass!  On the other hand, interesting idea.  Looks like the stuff on www.hackaday.com

I used to use a really cheap pair of folding binoculars (the pocket kind) with my kodak fixed lens digital camera to achieve a zoom capability, great for concerts where they ban big cameras with expensive zooms.
