does the site get geotagged data from a photo or do we still have to input the location - just got a new (to me) phone with an 8Mpixel camera that allows geotagging on the photos, and was wondering if that would help with submitting photos.

I believe it works out the location for you from the data stored in the exif. I'm pretty sure thats how Ed had it programmed.

That phone sounds brilliant. Looking forward to seeing some of the images you capture on it.

I will have to give it a try, I have posted one pic from the phone so far, but that was prior to finding this setting and turning the feature on.

Hi Grendel,

(sorry, I haven't been around - I've been busy with work and my political side of life...)

Yes, this website can read geo-tagged data from JPEG EXIF data, and should happily interpret that into a pin on the map.  If you encounter any problems with it (i.e. it isn't...) email me the photograph in question and I'll have a look and see what's going wrong.
