I was going through some old bits and pieces the other day and happened to come across my first digital camera  Grin Wow! I'd forgotten how big and heavy it was... not even 1 megapixel quality.... and stored about 10 images on 1 floppy disc Smiley Digital photography has certainly come a long way since then!

Here it is, in all its glory....
May I present to you (fanfare please)

The Sony Mavica (with my iPod shuffle to give an idea of size)

Is that big that up until recently I was using the camera bag I had for that camera to transport all my DSLR stuff around.

I must remember and post a photo from this camera to show the quality  Grin

I've just found the photos, and actually, if they stay small, the photos arent too bad.

This was taken in Jersey about 7ish years ago, and hopefully I'll be able to upload the full-size image Smiley

That was one of the first digital cameras i used too, we had a company digital, the only drawback were the boxes and boxes of floppy discs you had to take round with you, about 25 pictures to a disk, I must have created several hundred discs worth of photos using that camera.
I then got my own camera I won it in a competition, A Kodak 1Mpixel camera that used CF cards- it was so good I got a second one for the wife to use from a local freead paper, if you look at my cathedral iteriors, they were all done on the kodak, and I used to use it for astronomy photos too.
