Description :
"The ill starred Kennet centre was supposed to transform this end of Newbury. They gave it a multi storey car park (having demolished two other similar car parks elswhere). The Kennet centre never really recovered from Sainsburys moving out of town. Perhaps the nice new cinema will revitalise trade? The walls with these embedded sculptures have slowly been overgrown in the decade since this picture."
